How many colours, designs and
name drops can I have per order? As many as you like, however, all
of our customers so far just choose one to a few
colours and designs, and
one name drop (e.g. Colorado or Vail with their logo). If, for
example, a daycare wanted 36 different colours, designs and name
drops, we can certainly do it – the pricing for this type of order
would just need to be reviewed.

What are your prices? Please contact us for
current prices. We are a wholesale manufacturer of custom engraved
picture frames and welcome the opportunity of adding you to our
customer list! Our minimum order is for at least one dozen photo
frames with volume discounts starting on orders of 3 dozen or more!

Do your frames come with UPC codes? Yes they can, however, we are
currently (Apr/08) researching labeling for the UPC codes. Let us
know if this feature is important to you.

How many horizontal versus vertical frames
should I order? Some retailers have commented that they are able
to build a more interesting display with the use of different sizes
and orientations (along with different designs and colours, too, of
course)! The added selection also helps increase sales per customer.
Our sales history seems to indicate that limiting your
vertical orientations to one third of your first order may be a good starting
point.
- Do customers in the United States have to pay duty on photo frames?
No, wooden photo frames are a Duty Free item under the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). HS Tariff Classification
Number for “wooden photo frames”: 4414.00.00 However, brokerage
fees may apply (see Shipping Info).
- Do I have to pay GST and PST? Canadian wholesale customers are charged GST.

- How long does it take to complete an
order of photo frames? We currently work towards having orders
shipped in less than 2 weeks from the Order Date. It is
important to note, however, that our picture frames are a handcrafted item and we
are only able to manufacture, engrave and package a limited number
of frames per
day. Don’t be afraid to let us know what your requirements are, but,
as always, the more time we have the better!
- Can you do custom engraving if I supply
the clipart or logo etc? Yes. If you do not see what you like
among our selection of designs, we are able to take customer
supplied artwork or logos and process them for engraving. See our
pricing page for rates on logos for engraving (email us and we
will send a Price Page to you). It is a good idea to ask us for a
quote for items other than professionally designed logos.
- It is important to note that
simple designs work best and the artwork must be recognizable in its
black and white version as the engraving process involves only
painted wood and unpainted wood (i.e. engraved wood). Generally,
preparing artwork for engraving is a very time consuming and
expensive process
and, other than professionally designed logo’s, we encourage people to see if one of our
designs will work.
- However, if you do not see what you like,
contact us to
see what else we have available – we are always working on new
designs as our customer base grows and we welcome the opportunity to
work with customers to develop new and unique designs!
- Can I have a font for the “name drop” that is not among your
choices? Yes. For ease of ordering, we have put together a
selection of fonts which seem to work well
for most people. However, we do have an extensive collection of
fonts available to you if you let us know what your requirements
are.
- How are your frames packaged?
Our photo
frames come wrapped in Kraft paper and are ready to display
by hanging on a wall or resting on a flat surface. Merchants find
they are easy to bag for customers due to being
lightweight and unbreakable. The rounded corners also help avoid
puncturing and tearing plastic bags.
- What payment methods do you accept? We accept
VISA for all of our customers and also accept Master
Card and American Express
for
our Canadian customers. You are also welcome to pay by check.
